PARADISE LOST sortira son nouvel album intitulé "Medusa" le 1er septembre chez Nuclear Blast.

Le groupe l'a enregistré en compagnie de Jaime Gomez Arellano (Cathedral, Ulver, Oranssi Pazuzu) au sein de ses Orgone Studios.

Au sujet de ce futur album, Greg Mackintosh a notamment déclaré : "The new album will be slower, sludgier and more doom filled than ever before. Eight riff laden monster tracks of sheer Northern misery."

Le quinzième album de la formation sera leur premier avec le jeune batteur finlandais Waltteri Väyrynen (Vallenfyre) intégré en 2016.

Paradise Lost, programmé au prochain Motocultor, sera par ailleurs en tournée européenne à l'automne, accompagné par Pallbearer et Sinistro. Tournée qui débutera le 27 septembre au Luxembourg (Esch-SurAlzette, Kulturfabrik) et fera également étape à deux reprises en Suisse : 21.10 - Genève, L‘Usine ; 30.10 - Pratteln, Z7. D'autres dates doivent encore être confirmées.

RIVER BLACK (Modern Metal - USA) sortira son premier album intitulé "River Black" le 7 juillet chez Season of Mist aux formats CD, LP et digital.
