Initialement actif via le patronyme Epic Irae entre 1988 et 1993, le groupe s'est reformé sous le nom Quicksand Dream en 1996 et a publié un premier album, "Aelin: A Story About Destiny", en 2000. Ce dernier est en écoute intégrale ci-dessous.

Quicksand Dream est notamment recommandé aux amateurs de Manilla Road, Solstice, Cirith Ungol et Black Sabbath.
